At present part of Leeways Marine’s activities focus around the Arctic: the HFO Free Arctic Campaign and the Arctic Marine Litter Project. Developments in the Arctic are a strong indicator for climate change and ocean pollution. After visiting the Arctic archipelago of Svalbard as Chief Officer of a 3-mast Schooner in 1993, the Arctic has played an important part in our work.
